This autograph album contains signatures of 27 members of the All Black rugby team touring South Africa in 1949, and also that of the team manager, next to or underneath their pasted-in photos. 3 of the players’ signatures were not obtained, but their photos are pasted in. It also contains signatures of 2 members of the Border rugby team (B. Kenyon and R. Philips) and their photos, with possibly more from other team members of Border on the page with Philips’ photo, and an inscribed photo from the actress Olivia de Havilland.
1949 saw the second full tour of South Africa by a representative New Zealand rugby union team (the New Zealand national rugby union team). The All Blacks achieved a record of 13 wins, 7 losses and 4 draws, and they lost the test series 4–0. (wikipedia.com)

Condition: Good-very good. Minor rubbing to boards, and slight shelfwear to top and tail of spine. Light wrinkling to pages from glue where photos are fixed. Light stains to some pages. A few pages missing their bottom corners. Various other autographs and inscriptions from friends of the original owner, but the All Blacks signatures, de Havilland photo and the Border team members signatures are uncluttered and dedicated to their own pages.
