Erratic weather changes of the 2010 harvest challenged winemakers and viticulturists alike. Still, this wine stands testimony to endurance. It is expressive with upfront plum, sour cherry and dark chocolate nuances, hemmed with a savoury tone. The palate is rich, velvety and smooth with hints of pepper spice. A combination of the following resulted to its character: 25% whole bunch fermentation, 50% natural fermentation, 18 months in 85% French and 15% American oak, of which 70% was first-fill barrels. 2012 Veritas – Double Gold
