More Information

Cuvées Camille, formerly Camille Bonville, originates from 3 ha of the vineyard holdings of Franck Bonville. The first bottles were sold in 2009 and the name change to Cuvées Camille took place in 2015. The good maturity of the grapes picked mid-September and ageing of 4 years in the cellars contribute to the beautiful generosity and roundness. The Champagne house of Franck Bonville is situated in the town of Avize, on the Côte des Blancs, where quality wines have been made since 1937. Originally by Alfred Bonville, and son Franck, the tradition is continued today by fourth generation Olivier Bonville. This is the first wine from his joint negociant effort with his wife, Delphine Cazals. It is named after their daughter, Camille, and is 100% grand cru Chardonnay from vineyards in Avize and Cramant. Production is focused around Chardonnay and sustainable vineyard practices contribute to the ethos of the family estate.

"Pale gold. Expressive, distinctive nose with accents of pastry, breadcrust and mocha. Good quality freshness, texture and fullness on the palate. Ethereal yet rich and extremely persistent. Serve preferably with fish." - 92/100, Gilbert & Gaillard
