This Blanc de Blancs was made especially to complement sweet dishes.
100% Chardonnay with 35g/l dosage. Deep yellow in colour with golden highlights. The bubbles are fine and give a rich and fresh sensation. It delivers greedy flavours of marshmallows, candied lemon and then you will find mint notes, grilled nut cream, peach, quince, infusion and roasting flavours, caramel, white chocolate, ginger biscuit. The overall is rich, full bodied with a flavourful and fruity finish. The sweetness and generosity of the fruit make this cuvée a delicate expression of Chardonnay.
Demi-sec Champagne is essentially bottled joy. The sensuous and lively bubbles paired with an old-school touch of perceptible sugar truly lift my spirits. The greatest part of it all is that this works exceedingly well at the table. Grab your favorite dishes with a bit of a spicy kick, and you have a match! This is entirely Chardonnay and sings with bright acidity, pears, citrus, a touch of toast, and an alluring slight sweetness. Demi-sec is much maligned, yet in the olden days would have been considered one of the drier styles of Champagne. The acidity of Champagne marries beautifully with a touch of residual sugar, and this bottle is for both savory and sweet!
