Painted to the center with seven aster-heads connected by a scrolling vine, all on a dense snail-shell diaper ground, enclosed by twenty shaped cartouches each housing a blossoming aster, the reverse painted with Ruyi-heads and scrolls, the base marked with a leaf within a blue double-ring, age wear, fritting, rim chips, hairline cracks
