Decorated with flowering tree peonies and butterflies in flight in tones of pink, yellow and violet-blue on an iron-red ground, the domed cover with a gilded peach finial, the interior glazed with further peony blooms on a turquoise ground, the sides applied with gilded mask handles suspending metal rope-twist handles, the base with an iron-red Thonzhi mark, wear commensurate with age, gilt loss
