ABOUT ARTIST
Blessing Blaai was born in Gauteng and grew up in a place called Troyeville. His work is mainly influenced by the area that he grew up in (which is a peripheral part of the city). He mainly uses inks, but does explore other mediums such as oils, acrylics and new media. His recent exploration within his work is largely a mix of techniques and mediums as he considers himself a semi abstract artist. He studied printmaking at the Artist Proof Studio and was polished as a painter, (and learned various techniques and fundamentals of art) at a studio called 32 Flavors.
