ABOUT ARTIST
Slovo’s works seeks to reflect on society social ills which overlaps between spiritual and political elements that are inherent within South African society. He uses imaginary surrealism depiction to address themes such as identity in his work. Coming from a background of design Slovo’s work is experimental, process led and borrows from design. His compositions are detailed and expressive to communicate experiences that he absorbs from daily life and consequently question through his work. His composition include drawings, paintings and prints.
