Two original storyboards from the new animated South African feature film Jock of the Bushveld to be released on 29 July 2011 in 3D on auction at Stephan Welz & Company (Pty) Limited on 16 August at 10h30, 13 Biermann Avenue, Rosebank, Johannesburg.
The storyboards were donated to the Sandton SPCA by the Director of Jock of the Bushveld, Duncan MacNeillie.
The proceeds of the lots are to go to support the work of the Sandton SPCA in caring for and re-homing abused, stray and neglected animals, as well as providing vital education programmes to assist with eradicating the ignorance that is often behind cruelty and abuse of animals.
Jock of the Bushveld is based on Sir Percy Fitzpatrick’s beloved novel of the same name. A 3D-animated family adventure that tells the heart-warming, coming-of-age story of a man and his best-friend, a loveable and fearless dog named, Jock
