Erik Laubscher’s textural landscape

September 27, 2011 - A highly collectable work title Decayed Tree at Sunset painted in 1959 by well-known South African master painter, Erik Laubscher, will prove a major draw card on the 18 October 2011. This work fits into his covetable period which stretches from the early 50s through to the late 70s. At this time Laubscher made use of a bold palette coupled with strong forms.
